At 0755 you fix your position 166°T, 1.5 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 066°T at 6.4 kn until 0820, then 318°T at 8.3 kn until 0835.

Give the 0835 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
