At 0740 you fix your position 006°T, 2.7 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 106°T at 6.9 kn until 0755, then 075°T at 9.4 kn until 0810.

Give the 0810 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
