At 1445 you fix your position 024°T, 2.7 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 039°T at 9.6 kn until 1455, then 262°T at 4.0 kn until 1520.

Give the 1520 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
