At 0845 you fix your position 217°T, 2.7 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 289°T at 7.1 kn until 0915, then 341°T at 6.3 kn until 0945.

Give the 0945 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
