At 1555 you fix your position 046°T, 2.9 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 259°T at 6.3 kn until 1610, then 182°T at 9.4 kn until 1635.

Give the 1635 DR position as the true bearing FROM Kittle water tank to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
