At 1525 you fix your position 237°T, 2.7 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 226°T at 4.9 kn until 1555, then 332°T at 6.9 kn until 1625.

Give the 1625 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
