At 0745 you fix your position 041°T, 2.8 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 119°T at 7.6 kn until 0810, then 325°T at 4.8 kn until 0820.

Give the 0820 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
