At 0945 you fix your position 286°T, 1.6 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 298°T at 6.6 kn until 1005, then 188°T at 8.1 kn until 1035.

Give the 1035 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
