At 1355 you fix your position 344°T, 2.7 nm from Kittle water tank. You steer 249°T at 10.0 kn until 1415, then 286°T at 7.9 kn until 1450.

Give the 1450 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
