At 0915 you fix your position 250°T, 2.1 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 302°T at 10.0 kn until 0930, then 127°T at 9.2 kn until 0950.

Give the 0950 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
