At 0735 you fix your position 302°T, 3.8 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 175°T at 9.9 kn until 0750, then 259°T at 8.4 kn until 0810.

Give the 0810 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
