At 1240 you fix your position 072°T, 3.2 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 193°T at 9.2 kn until 1305, then 039°T at 8.3 kn until 1325.

Give the 1325 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
