At 0705 you fix your position 245°T, 3.0 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 184°T at 9.1 kn until 0715, then 326°T at 5.3 kn until 0730.

Give the 0730 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
