At 0905 you fix your position 269°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 325°T at 6.6 kn until 0925, then 186°T at 4.0 kn until 1005.

Give the 1005 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
