At 0835 you fix your position 090°T, 2.7 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 313°T at 5.2 kn until 0905, then 112°T at 8.9 kn until 0950.

Give the 0950 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
