At 1420 you fix your position 069°T, 1.2 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 357°T at 5.1 kn until 1440, then 250°T at 9.0 kn until 1450.

Give the 1450 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
