At 1110 you fix your position 053°T, 1.1 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 338°T at 4.1 kn until 1140, then 137°T at 5.5 kn until 1155.

Give the 1155 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
