At 0755 you fix your position 227°T, 1.6 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 279°T at 9.9 kn until 0830, then 081°T at 9.3 kn until 0855.

Give the 0855 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
