At 0935 you fix your position 262°T, 2.7 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 241°T at 5.1 kn until 1010, then 348°T at 4.1 kn until 1050.

Give the 1050 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
