At 0935 you fix your position 008°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 092°T at 9.2 kn until 0950, then 171°T at 7.9 kn until 1030.

Give the 1030 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
