At 1230 you fix your position 014°T, 2.3 nm from Mill stack. You steer 249°T at 6.4 kn until 1240, then 124°T at 9.4 kn until 1250.

Give the 1250 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
