At 0710 you fix your position 043°T, 2.9 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 284°T at 7.4 kn until 0720, then 079°T at 9.7 kn until 0745.

Give the 0745 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
