At 1000 you fix your position 031°T, 2.7 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 146°T at 8.9 kn until 1025, then 321°T at 4.2 kn until 1105.

Give the 1105 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
