At 0905 you fix your position 358°T, 3.4 nm from Mill stack. You steer 313°T at 4.0 kn until 0925, then 279°T at 5.7 kn until 0945.

Give the 0945 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
