At 0835 you fix your position 337°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 212°T at 7.6 kn until 0920, then 286°T at 4.3 kn until 1000.

Give the 1000 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
