At 0950 you fix your position 290°T, 3.2 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 281°T at 4.8 kn until 1015, then 159°T at 7.4 kn until 1035.

Give the 1035 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
