At 1240 you fix your position 248°T, 3.1 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 220°T at 5.3 kn until 1255, then 081°T at 9.0 kn until 1305.

Give the 1305 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
