At 0805 you fix your position 229°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 309°T at 4.7 kn until 0820, then 255°T at 8.7 kn until 0845.

Give the 0845 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
