At 1220 you fix your position 004°T, 2.7 nm from Mill stack. You steer 062°T at 6.6 kn until 1230, then 107°T at 6.5 kn until 1240.

Give the 1240 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
