At 0840 you fix your position 254°T, 3.2 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 347°T at 5.9 kn until 0915, then 201°T at 4.9 kn until 0955.

Give the 0955 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
