At 1240 you fix your position 290°T, 1.7 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 054°T at 4.3 kn until 1305, then 117°T at 4.8 kn until 1340.

Give the 1340 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
