At 1230 you fix your position 214°T, 3.1 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 179°T at 5.1 kn until 1240, then 044°T at 5.9 kn until 1310.

Give the 1310 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
