At 1405 you fix your position 235°T, 2.6 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 152°T at 5.8 kn until 1420, then 332°T at 9.3 kn until 1435.

Give the 1435 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
