At 0810 you fix your position 104°T, 1.8 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 063°T at 9.3 kn until 0820, then 324°T at 6.9 kn until 0830.

Give the 0830 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
