At 0750 you fix your position 241°T, 3.3 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 169°T at 4.2 kn until 0800, then 310°T at 4.0 kn until 0830.

Give the 0830 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
