At 0840 you fix your position 337°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 247°T at 7.4 kn until 0910, then 163°T at 9.9 kn until 0945.

Give the 0945 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
