At 0840 you fix your position 086°T, 3.4 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 070°T at 8.1 kn until 0855, then 189°T at 5.9 kn until 0905.

Give the 0905 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
