At 1235 you fix your position 110°T, 1.1 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 155°T at 8.0 kn until 1255, then 087°T at 7.3 kn until 1320.

Give the 1320 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
