At 0710 you fix your position 063°T, 2.3 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 271°T at 8.0 kn until 0750, then 117°T at 5.7 kn until 0825.

Give the 0825 DR position as the true bearing FROM Kittle water tank to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
