At 0745 you fix your position 086°T, 2.6 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 062°T at 8.0 kn until 0820, then 313°T at 9.7 kn until 0830.

Give the 0830 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
