At 0745 you fix your position 250°T, 3.0 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 342°T at 9.3 kn until 0805, then 169°T at 8.2 kn until 0830.

Give the 0830 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
