At 1440 you fix your position 081°T, 2.3 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 113°T at 4.3 kn until 1515, then 297°T at 4.6 kn until 1535.

Give the 1535 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
