At 0855 you fix your position 034°T, 3.8 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 177°T at 5.9 kn until 0925, then 251°T at 4.1 kn until 0950.

Give the 0950 DR position as the true bearing FROM Kittle water tank to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
