At 0700 you fix your position 073°T, 1.2 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 064°T at 4.3 kn until 0715, then 143°T at 7.6 kn until 0740.

Give the 0740 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
