At 1130 you fix your position 297°T, 1.0 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 060°T at 4.9 kn until 1140, then 115°T at 7.7 kn until 1205.

Give the 1205 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
