At 0900 you fix your position 064°T, 2.3 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 158°T at 7.3 kn until 0940, then 312°T at 9.8 kn until 0955.

Give the 0955 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
