At 1115 you fix your position 019°T, 2.0 nm from Mill stack. You steer 079°T at 5.6 kn until 1125, then 280°T at 5.0 kn until 1205.

Give the 1205 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
