At 0710 you fix your position 187°T, 2.0 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 263°T at 8.8 kn until 0745, then 351°T at 5.1 kn until 0825.

Give the 0825 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
