At 0705 you fix your position 221°T, 2.8 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 117°T at 5.9 kn until 0725, then 205°T at 5.6 kn until 0740.

Give the 0740 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
