At 0705 you fix your position 262°T, 3.2 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 307°T at 9.3 kn until 0715, then 152°T at 8.0 kn until 0735.

Give the 0735 DR position as the true bearing FROM Heron Point Light to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
